Great Eatery in Chicago

front of Restaurant
A great place to eat in Chicago is "Cafe Ba Ba Reeba". This restaurant is a Tapas. Tapas or (tapa) is a name for a wide variety of appetizers or different snacks. It is derived from 'Spanish descent and can be served hot or cold. So basically, "Cafe Ba Ba Reeba" is an appetizer restaurant.
Don't get me wrong; they do serve you good portions for what you. There is no beating the taste either. Everything on there menu is delicious, and there is something for everyone. Here are a few of the things we ordered.
To the left is the beef tenderloin with blue cheese,
and this also included potato chips as well.
Overall I am not a big fan of blue cheese, so
I let my parents have it. Otherwise the meat
was very tender and juicy and had a boatload
of flavor. The chips were very great as well,
and I think they are homemade.

Above is the buttermilk deep fried Quail, with a smoked cream cheese sauce. This was a special that night, and is not on the written menu. the  Quail was very tender and the deep fried outside was also very yummy. The sauce was an excellent choice to compliment the Quail

These are the fried green peppers with course salt. The taste of these is incredible, and these peppers are not hot at all. The salt and pepper really gave it good flavor and texture. When we tried these with different dishes it brought new flavors and combinations to the plate. This is number 33. on the menu.

For dessert my parents and I, each ordered a dessert which was sized perfectly for one person. (However, we each shared each others)
I received the basque cheesecake with berry compote (sauce). And it was so creamy and smooth, and the berries were fresh! I definitely enjoyed this. My dad got the chocolate truffle cake with kahlua, and whipped cream. This was very rich, and I only had one bite, and it filled my mouth with thick fudge texture. If you have a chocolate craving, this will definitely fix that. Finally, my mom ordered the caramelized banana with vanilla ice cream, quince syrup, and toasted pistachios. The banana was very sweet, and had a caramel flavor (hence the caramelized part)  and the nuts gave it a salty side, and a great texture.

Overall, I would give "Cafe Ba Ba Reeba" a 10 out of 5 stars. Honestly they have amazing and well prepared food. They use fresh, top quality ingredients, and the service is amazing. The speed of the food is also very well considering when we went. (it was very full) If you are looking to experience something new and exciting try this. You wont be let down. Hers is the link to their website where you can find all the menus. http://www.cafebabareeba.com/ and follow them on instagram too!
